Fun Facts:

  1. The Long Haul is one of the few ultra races that is a fundraiser for a charity with the proceeds going to a charity. It started out supporting an agricultural initiative in Haiti following the devastating earthquake in 2010 and has since changed to childhood development.
  2. Starting as a road race, it was changed to a trail race through the Cypress Creek Preserve in the second year. Due to much of the preserve being a well field, the course has been adjusted each year to accommodate areas that are wet or unrunable. Most of the trails are the same each year, but minor additions and subtractions means that the course has changed (to some degree) every year.

Nearest Airports (HRs): Tampa, FL (.75), Orlando, FL (1.75), Sanford, FL (2)
