Fun Fact: Black Hills 100 takes place on the Centennial trail, which is Trail #89 in the Black Hills National Forest.  Both the name and trail number are due to the fact that the trail was commemorated in 1989 to celebrate South Dakota’s centennial.  At 111 miles, it is the longest primarily single-track trail in the Black Hills.
